Organ-on-a-Chip and Organoids Event
Organ-on-Chip and Organoid implementation through collaboration with end-users
Dear partner active in Organ-on-a-Chip technology and Organoids,
As Health~Holland, together with Utrecht Science Park and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, we are excited to announce our upcoming Organ-on-a-Chip and Organoids event, Thursday 28 August at Utrecht Science Park (Utrecht, the Netherlands).
All stakeholders active in Organ-on-a-Chip technology and Organoids are invited to participate in this event. This includes not only academic and technological partners but also end-users such as CROs and pharmaceutical companies, as well as all relevant disciplines, reflecting the inherently interdisciplinary nature of this field.
Organ-on-a-Chip & Organoid technology is paving the way for the future of biomedical innovation. With its potential to revolutionize healthcare, accelerate drug development, and personalize treatment like never before, this field is rapidly capturing global attention. But innovation alone won’t drive change. Successful implementation demands international collaboration involving public and private stakeholders on science, business and regulations. That means uniting our expertise, exchanging insights, and forging strong international partnerships. By working together, we can position ourselves as global leaders in this transformative domain. And that’s exactly the spirit we’ll bring to life on 28 August 2025.
This event is organised in the context of Health~Holland's Organ-on-Chip initiative and is linked to the upcoming R&D call.

Pitches
As part of the program, we’re offering organisations the opportunity to pitch your product, innovation, offering or collaboration idea. This is your chance to:
- Introduce your organization and explain what type of collaboration you’re looking for (e.g. in relation to the upcoming Organ-on-Chip (OoC) call);
- Share how and when you involve end users in your technology development process;
- Highlight successful examples of engaging with end users.
Please note: Pitch time slots are limited and will be allocated based on the number of interested participants. While we will do our best to accommodate everyone, we cannot guarantee a pitching spot. If you’d like to pitch, simply indicate your interest during registration. We’ll follow up with a confirmed time slot and detailed guidelines.

Besides registration for this physical event in Utrecht (the Netherlands), The platform offers an online marketplace and matchmaking tool where project ideas, cooperation offers, and requests can be shared, with the aim of identifying synergies, forming clusters, and selecting and integrating promising initiatives. This interactive platform serves as the starting point for collaboration.
This event will be organized as part of a strategic collaboration commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, in partnership with Health~Holland, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Dutch Embassy in Switzerland, and stakeholders from the life sciences & health sector. More about this collaboration, see: H~H Organ-on-Chip initiative
The Organ-on-Chip and Organoïds event is prior to the Dutch economic mission to Switzerland.
Please note that the mission is now fully booked and registration is no longer possible.
