Innovation mission Switzerland: Innovative Therapies Development

Are you active in the field of development and manufacturing of promising innovative therapies? Are you a Dutch researcher, entrepreneur, clinician, investor or policymaker, and would you like to connect with Swiss experts to exchange knowledge and explore possibilities for cooperation? If so, join this innovation mission to Switzerland.

The seminar & machmaking event, in the context of the R&D call, is part to the Dutch innovation mission "Innovative Therapies Development" to Switzerland. During the mission, we bring together experts from both Life Sciences ecosystems to connect on innovative therapies development and manufacturing, with particular focus on cell- and gene therapies. We explore collaboration opportunities dedicated to faster, brighter, better, and more affordable development, production, and availability of new patients therapies

If you are a Dutch researcher, entrepreneur, engineer, clinician, business developer, investor or policymaker, affiliated with a knowledge institution, (academic) medical centre, (technology) company, patient- or government organisation, and active in the theme mentioned above, you are invited to join.

Draft program
Netherlands Enterprise Agency, the Netherlands Innovation Network and the Netherlands Embassy in Switzerland, in cooperation with Health~Holland, develop the mission program. The following components are foreseen:

  • informal kick-off and diner;
  • breakfast session with pharma representatives (TBC);
  • participation Swiss Biotech Day conference;
  • visits to research centres, biotech-pharma companies and/or innovation clusters (2 tracks foreseen: one to French-speaking part of CH, and one to German-speaking part of CH);
  • bilateral seminar & matchmaking event, organised by Innosuisse, Health~Holland and Netherlands Enterprise Agency.

Costs
The costs for participation in the innovation mission are € 250 per person. This amount includes participation in the joint program, transfers to and from the program components, and lunch and dinners mentioned in the final program. Participation excludes travel and accommodation costs, participant's fee for Swiss Biotech Day conferencen (CHF 500 plus 8.1% VAT), and all individual costs.
